COLORS VOL. 1&2 (2000) was a result of two years of exploration. After touring the North East of the US for their previous record, SOON, Nance and Charlie needed a new rhythm section. That's when Maria Theodosiadou and Brian Haarer joined and Her Vanished Grace became a full collaboration. COLORS is a blend of spontaneous group energy, sonic revelations and experimental songwriting. Anthemic cavalry charges, colorfully bruised melodicism and epic journeys to secret places orbit each other in an enveloping landscape that is equal parts grit and polish.
