For the three years after COLORS VOL. 1&2 (2000), Her Vanished Grace rebooted. Charlie and Nancy scored the 2001 IFC film "The Safety Of Objects", which included the HVG song "Out The Window" from COLORS. At the same time, HVG existed a trio, with Charlie, Nancy and Maria continuing to write and demo material while searching for a new drummer. When they played with former Sexpod alumnus Billy Loose, they knew right away that they'd found their new inspiration. Her Vanished Grace polished their new improvs with Billy and incorporated his propulsive style into the eclectic post punk/dream pop anthems that they'd been writing. On their subsequent release PARADISE (2004), HVG continued to explore the terrain of sweet melodies and biting guitars. The powerful rhythms of Billy and Maria anchored the soaring textures while Nance and Charlie spun tales of mystery and regret.
This edition has four bonus tracks, not included on the original release of PARADISE.
